NURS 794 - Family Nurse Practitioner Capstone 1 Credits This capstone course is the culminating experience for students in the Family Nurse Practitioner MSN program. Students will synthesize and apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout their graduate studies. Students will reflect on the achievement of program outcomes and professional practice standards for the advanced practice nurse in a comprehensive portfolio. Additionally, students will make a professional presentation to peers outlining the evidence-based practice change project proposal that was developed in NURS 640. Grade Note(s): A grade of B- or better is required for successful completion of all NURS and NRPY courses. Prerequisite(s): NURS 640 , NURS 781 , and NURS 781C Recommended Corequisite(s): NURS 786 and NURS 786C Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Evaluate personal and professional growth in alignment with advanced practice nurse standards and program outcomes, as demonstrated through the development of a comprehensive portfolio.
2. Refine the evidence-based practice change project based on the proposal developed in NURS 640.
3. Communicate the evidence-based practice change project effectively to peers, showcasing the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
