NURS 776C - FNP II-Acute and Episodic Problems across the Lifespan Clinical 5 Credits This clinical course includes 225 direct patient care hours in a precepted clinical experience under the supervision of faculty. During this experience, students provide person-centered care for common acute and episodic health problems across the lifespan. The student will utilize clinical decision-making skills to manage individual health concerns in the practice setting. Grade Note(s): NURS 776C requires 225 hours at a clinical site. All component corequisites must be repeated if a failing grade is received in any one of them. The lecture, lab and virtual lab (V), and clinical (C) components of each NURS course must be successfully completed with a B- or better in the same semester. Fees: Additional course fees apply. Develop person-centered plans of care for acute and episodic care in the clinical setting.
2. Compose an accurate written summary of clinical findings.
3. Evaluate therapeutic responses to the plan of care.
4. Reflect on personal progress in transitioning to the role of the Family Nurse Practitioner.
5. Analyze the use of technology to optimize quality, safety, and evidence-based care.
6. Implement plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
