HINT 209 - Quality and Performance Improvement in Health Care 3 Credits This course is an introduction of the methods used to define, describe, recognize and apply total quality management in health care. The principles of the quality assessment process and risk management will be emphasized. The course will provide an opportunity for the student to gain skills in collecting and analyzing data through a team approach. Grade Note(s): A grade of C or better is required to pass this course successfully. Fees: Additional course fees apply. Prerequisite(s): HINT 215 for HIT/HIM majors; HLTH 210 for HSAD majors
