HLTH 210 - Health Care Organizations and Systems 3 Credits This course provides the student with an introduction to health care organizational systems and related resources. Discussions will include history and development of health care in the United States. Students gain a theoretical understanding of various health care provider roles in the overall organizational planning, management, quality, and assessment pertaining to major health policy issues and disciplines in the United States. Topics will compare and contrast the delivery of health care to those of other countries. Grade Note(s): A grade of C or better is required to pass this course successfully. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 109 Co-requisite(s): ENGL 110
