MGMT 321 - Organizational Behavior 3 Credits This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of organizations, by combining theory with application relating to motivation, group behaviors, power, politics, conflict, leadership, decision-making, communications, organizational design, and change. Students examine the application of psychology, sociology, and social psychology to organizational management. Fees: Additional course fees apply. Prerequisite(s): HLTH 211 or MGMT 211 Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Evaluate the culture, climate, structure, leadership, and communication of an organization.
2. Analyze the theory and practices of human behavior in organizations.
3. Apply theories of leadership, teamwork, and change to organizational situations and behavior.
4. Examine conflict and the negotiation process.
