Computer Information Systems, BS


Bachelor of Science • CINFO SYS BS

The Computer Information Systems program is designed to educate students in a broad range of computer technology skills. Students will learn to work with leaders from functional areas to analyze information requirements and determine ways in which computer systems can meet those needs. Students will choose from four dynamic specialties: Database and Analytics, Programming, Secure Software Development, or Web and Mobile Development.

Learning Outcomes


  • Develop computer information systems requirements appropriate for an interdisciplinary IS problem.

  • Analyze business requirements supported by information systems.

  • Collaboratively develop an application system to support a specific IS need.

  • Analyze how ethical, quality, legal and cultural dimensions affect computer information systems and/or a cross-cultural project team.
