Bachelor of Applied Science • APPL BUS BAS

The BAS, Applied Business degree allows students to apply a community college associate degree (except in business), in order to develop the business acumen necessary to either develop or run their own business or to move up to a supervisory/management role within their organization. The degree focuses on the foundations of business along with knowledge essential to understanding operations management and supervision.

Learning Outcomes

Synthesize the Davenport University Excellence System through the learning of management concepts and applications along with Foundations of Excellence I and Business.
Create a business strategy in student’s area of expertise.
Analyze business management case studies, including application of decision-making for business problem resolution.
Apply competencies from the areas of management, marketing, accounting, and technology.
