UEDU 330 - Multicultural Teaching Practices 3 Credits In this course students will learn about the historical evolution of multicultural education through exposure to key concepts as well as theoretical models from both research and practical perspectives. The impact of race, gender, second language acquisition, poverty, class and religion on teaching and learning will be examined. Students will learn strategies and tools that incorporate knowledge of culture in the development of effective classroom management and teaching practices. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 110 and SOSC 201
