CHEM 420 - Quantitative Analysis 3 Credits This course introduces the principles and techniques in proper quantitative chemical analysis: including gravimetric, volumetric, spectrophotometric, and potentiometric analyses. It includes use of instruments such as gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS), high‐performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC), open‐flame atomic absorption spectrometer (FAAS), FTIR, and others. Grade Note(s): All CHEM prefixed courses required for the BS Biological Sciences degree program require a C or better grade for successful completion.
All CHEM prefixed courses taken as requirements in the Nursing programs require a C or better grade for successful completion. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 161 and CHEM 161L
