NRPY 799 - Mental Health Capstone

This course is the final synthesis of the theoretical and clinical basis for advanced practice nursing care in the management of patients with psychiatric and mental health alterations. The principles and methodologies inherent in the conduct of evidence-based research and practice to design and implement a special clinical research project is included. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) practice areas of licensing, credentialing and legal issues are discussed. A review in preparation of board certification will be provided.
