NETW 141 - MS Client and Server OS 3 Credits Students will gain the knowledge to efficiently administer and manage Windows client and server installations. This hands-on course explores the foundations of operating Windows Server systems and seamlessly integrating them with cloud services. Students will learn the deployment, configuration, and management of Windows Server infrastructures in a virtual environment for both on-premises and cloud-based situations. Corequisite(s): NETW 101 Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Configure Windows Server installations for client workstation connectivity, including virtual environments.
2. Troubleshoot common Windows Server issues, including network connectivity problems.
3. Compare the performance characteristics of on-premises and cloud-based scenarios.
4. Analyze the security implications of various Windows Server configurations.
5. Explain the architecture of Windows Server in both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
