NETW 101 - PC Operating Systems 3 Credits This course provides a comprehensive introduction to computer operating systems for professional environments. Students will gain hands-on experience with operating system installation, management, maintenance, customization, troubleshooting, and file and disk management. The course also addresses key security concepts within operating system platforms. Recommended Prerequisite(s): CISP 100 Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Troubleshoot common operating system issues.
2. Analyze the security vulnerabilities of different operating system configurations and appropriate mitigation strategies.
3. Install various operating system platforms in a professional setting.
