MGMT 495 - Strategic Management Capstone


4 Credits
In this course, emphasis will be placed on the strategic planning process through the analysis of business cases and the development of a major business project. This analysis includes a thorough review of industry and competitive conditions and situational analysis of the company, including financial trends and concluding with defendable recommendations for specific strategies that improve organizational performance and sustainability.

Prerequisite(s): Achieved senior status; BUSN 303  
Course Learning Outcomes:
1. Recommend an organizational business strategy to improve performance.
2. Apply alternative strategies for implementing sustainable practices to an organization problem.
3. Evaluate the role of leadership in successful implementation of strategic change.
4. Analyze organizational strategy for an international business or nonprofit.
