NRPY 774 - Mental Health Across the Lifespan

This course prepares the nurse to plan and deliver psychotherapy to patients with mental health alterations across the lifespan, in the context of the advanced practice nursing role. Theoretical frameworks for various psychotherapy and integrative modalities are included. Therapeutic communication, individual, and group therapy methods are emphasized. Interprofessional collaboration for a patient-centered and evidence-based approach is promoted.
