NURS 787C - Role Nurse Educator Clinical 1 Credits This clinical course includes 45 hours of experiential learning focusing on applying the advanced role of the nurse educator, grounded in current nursing education literature and research. Emphasizing the practical application of educational principles, students are actively involved in developing and delivering an educational experience for nursing students or healthcare audiences. Through this clinical experience, students gain insight into the educator role, enhancing their instructional, evaluative, and adaptive skills in real-world educational settings. Students engage in precepted clinical experiences under the supervision of faculty. Grade Note(s): NURS 787C requires a clinical practicum component of 45 hours in an identified clinical specialty area. All component co-requisites must be repeated if a failing grade is received in any one of them. The lecture, lab (L or V), and clinical (C) components of each NURS and NRPY course must be successfully completed with a B- or better in the same semester. Fees: Additional course fees apply.
