NURS 765 - Concepts of Advanced Nursing Practice 2 Credits This course examines concepts and research evidence to support the practice of nursing roles at an advanced level. Indirect and direct care within the advanced nursing role will be explored. Attention will also be given to the advanced nurse as a change agent and as an interprofessional collaborator. Certifications for advanced practice nursing will also be appraised. Grade Note(s): All component co-requistes must be repeated if a failing grade is received in any one of them. The lecture, lab and virtual lab (V) and clincal (C) components of each NURS and NRPY course must be successfully completed with a B- or better in the same semester.
