NURS 780 - Theoretical Foundations of Teaching and Learning

This course provides students with a comprehensive exploration of the theoretical foundations of teaching and learning in the context of nursing education. Students will delve into the principles, concepts, and models that underpin effective teaching strategies, learning processes, integration of new and emerging technologies, and evaluation. The course emphasizes the integration of evidence-based practices and contemporary research findings to inform the role of educator, facilitator, mentor, and advocate for lifelong learning.
Grade Note(s): A grade of B- or better is required for successful completion of all NURS and NRPY courses.
Prerequisite(s): NURS 765  and NURS 765C
