Admissions
Cybersecurity is an essential component of a business. The Cybersecurity concentration focuses on the planning, risk management, legal and ethical challenges, and business continuity aspects of a cyber security strategy used to defend a business from cyber threats. The concentration prepares individuals with techniques used to protect information infrastructure and assets, the role of people, processes, and technology in protecting information infrastructure, and strategies to ensure business continuity or resumption in the face of a natural disaster or cyberattack. The Cybersecurity concentration is delivered jointly by the College of Technology in partnership with the Maine College of Business.

Learning Outcomes
- Apply the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk.
Foundational Knowledge
Davenport University’s College of Business graduate programs assume incoming students possess foundational business knowledge acquired through either prior academic coursework or professional experience. For students lacking or seeking to refresh their skills in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Quantitative Research/Statistics, the university encourages the completion of the optional, self-paced Academic Leveling Modules. The Graduate Admissions Director will advise admitted students on potentially beneficial modules during the admissions process. While these modules are recommended to address potential knowledge gaps, their completion is not mandatory for program progression. The modules serve as a resource to enhance preparedness for the rigor of the graduate curriculum. Core Courses - 24 Credits
