MHLC 620 - Counseling Theory and Technique

In this course, students are introduced to the theoretical and philosophical foundations of counseling and learn how to consider varying individual sociocultural factors to inform counseling technique. Students develop a theoretical basis and identify techniques to inform the development of their own counseling practice.
