NURS 797C - Advanced Generalist Capstone Clinical

This course provides the summative and synthesis of knowledge that serves as the capstone of the MSN Advanced Generalist Concentration. Students will develop a portfolio demonstrating the MSN Essentials within the Advanced Generalist. Students will review the MSN essentials as they apply to their individual coursework. An analysis and evaluation of prior coursework will be completed to determine exemplars for each MSN essential.

Grade Note(s): Any unexcused non-attendance or dismissal from an internship, practicum, clinical or fieldwork experience will result in a grade of F. NURS 797C requires 45 clinical hours. All component co-requistes must be repeated if a failing grade is received in any one of them. The lecture, lab and virtual lab (V) and clincal (C) components of each NURS course must be successfully completed with a B- or better in the same semester.
