NURS 765 - Concepts of Advanced Nursing Practice 2 Credits This course focuses on examining and analyzing theories, concepts, and research evidence to support the practice of nursing at an advanced level. Students are provided the opportunity to enhance critical thinking and clinical judgment skills in designing, delivering, and evaluating health promotion, clinical prevention, and disease reduction interventions for individuals, groups, or populations. Emphasis is on nursing practice within an interdisciplinary context. Grade Note(s): All component co-requistes must be repeated if a failing grade is received in any one of them. The lecture, lab and virtual lab (V) and clincal (C) components of each NURS course must be successfully completed with a B- or better in the same semester.
