CSCI 798A - Master Research Thesis - A 3 Credits Research topic in computer science selected by the student and approved by thesis advisor. Students will learn methods for reading technical papers, selecting research topics, devising research questions, reviewing current literature and proposal writings. This is a two-semester course sequence. The student will register for this course for 2 consecutive semesters (3 credits each semester). A student must succesfully complete CSCI798A prior to enrolling in CSCI798B. Grade Note(s): A grade of C or better is required on the final assessment in order to earn a passing grade in this course. A grade of B or better must be earned to pass this course successfully. Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Produce significant written, oral, and visual deliverables, including a summative report and presentation.
2. Create solutions that support various issues using computer science.
3. Develop or research a computer science related tool or algorithm that solves a CS field vulnerability.
