CSCI 794B - Master Project - B


3 Credits
Research and design a project approved by an advisor that furthers the knowledge of or has a practical application to the computer science field. This is a two-semester course sequence. The student will register for this course for 2 consecutive semesters (3 credits each semester).
Prerequisite(s): A student must succesfully complete CSCI 794A    Master Project - A prior to enrolling in this course. 
Course Learning Outcomes:
1. Integrate computer science knowledge and skills acquired across the curriculum to solve a significant open-ended problem.
2. Formulate and solve new computer science problems using analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Demonstrate significant design experience in developing a new computer science solution, including the examination of multiple design alternatives, with justification for the final path taken.
4. Work in teamwork environment.
5. Demonstrate significant written, oral and visual deliverables, including a summative report and presentation.
6. Evaluate CS solution to gauge the merit the solution.
