TMGT 788 - Applied Research Techniques for Technology Management 3 Credits Registration Internship/Practicum Note: This class is preparatory to beginning the Technology Management Thesis and should be completed, at minimum, the semester prior to registration for CAPS 798 . This course focuses on the use of statistical methods and research techniques to address real-world challenges in technology management. Topics include data analysis, probability, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and the evaluation of categorical data. Emphasis is placed on applying these methods to technology management scenarios, enabling students to make informed decisions, assess technological trends, and solve complex problems. Prerequisite(s): STAT 615 or DATA 610 Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Formulate an exploratory research question that guides capstone investigation.
2. Evaluate data interpretation methods in the context of technology management.
3. Assess various data classification techniques that lead to a hypothesis.
4. Analyze research instruments for testing hypotheses.
