HCMG 630 - Health Care Organizations 3 Credits This course provides a systematic overview of the U.S. Healthcare Delivery System. Students will examine key components involved in the delivery and provision of healthcare services, including cultural diversity. This course also provides students an opportunity to examine the origin, development, structure, organization, and operational issues as they relate to hospitals and healthcare delivery systems. Grade Note(s): A grade of C or better is required on the final assessment in order to earn a passing grade in this course. Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Develop leadership strategies based on ethical standards of practice.
2. Assess healthcare delivery systems across diverse stakeholder perspectives.
3. Evaluate the impact of policy on healthcare.
4. Recommend strategies that promote cultural diversity.
5. Assess the future of health care through review of the impact of new theories and technologies.
6. Compare/contrast the key components involved in the delivery and provision of healthcare services in the United States.
