FINC 793 - Graduate ACG Experience I 2 Credits The course will prepare students for the Graduate Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Cup competition. The ACG Cup is an intercollegiate competition among graduate students from colleges and universities in West Michigan. Student participants will gain invaluable experience in a real-world context, receive feedback from leaders in the local business community, and expand networks. During the competition, students analyze complex business cases and present strategies involving merger and acquisition alternatives, valuation, capital markets, finance options, and corporate strategy. Prerequisite(s): FINC 620 Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Create a business valuation project with clearly defined objectives reflecting their graduate academic program.
2. Analyze appropriate data, systems, and processes with graduate-level recommendations and/or conclusions.
3. Present a professional presentation of the business valuation plan and its basis using appropriate technologies.
