MATH 120L - College Mathematics Lab 0 Credits This course is a zero-credit hour lab providing supplemental instruction for MATH 120 . It is a three contact-hour lab utilized in the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) designed to move students placed in MATH 030 directly into MATH 120 . Students must enroll in both this course and a paired MATH 120 section. Fees: Additional course fees apply. Corequisite(s): MATH 120 Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Investigate sets and their relationships using set operations and Venn diagrams.
2. Compute simple, compound, and conditional probabilities.
3. Graph linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic functions and use them to model and analyze real world phenomena.
4. Solve linear, quadratic, and exponential equations.
5. Solve systems of linear equations and inequalities.
6. Solve direct and inverse variation problems from written descriptions.
7. Solve counting problems.
