CISP 316 - Web Design 3 Credits This intermediate to advanced web design course explores the essential principles and processes of website production, with a focus on key design elements such as layout, navigation, and interactivity. Students will gain a deeper understanding of web design concepts and how to integrate them into cohesive, user-friendly websites. The course emphasizes the application of modern design techniques and industry-standard software to create dynamic and engaging web experiences. Prerequisite(s): CISP 303 Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Gather requirements from a client for the design and implementation of a real-world website.
2. Incorporate web graphics into a website using best practices.
3. Describe website architecture, workflow, and production processes.
4. Demonstrate fundamental online graphic design principles, including appropriate interactivity, content-sensitive navigation schemes, and user interface criteria.
