CISP 253 - Python Scripting

This course explores the use of Python, a versatile programming language compatible with Windows, Linux/Unix, and macOS. Its broad adaptability makes it an essential tool in technology and various industries. Students will learn how to use Python for tasks like data manipulation, stream editing, and parsing which are skills essential for careers in IT, forensics, and Artificial Intelligence.  
Course Learning Outcomes:
1. Develop Python applications that retrieve and process data from various sources, such as user input, files, databases, or APIs.
2. Explain core Python programming concepts, including data types, control structures, functions, and object-oriented programming principles.
3. Implement user-defined functions and data types in Python to modularize and enhance program functionality.
4. Analyze Python code to identify and optimize performance or resolve logical errors.
