ENGL 130 - Writing, Research and Reasoning

This course focuses on the development and application of analytical, expository, and persuasive writing skills and strengthening foundational literacies to enhance academic expression. Students will evaluate information and audience to improve form and content. Critical thinking is developed by analyzing readings and creating materials using a variety of modes. A significant portion of the course is dedicated to the research process, where students learn to locate, evaluate, and integrate credible sources into their work.

Create academic writing in a variety of modes by applying all stages of the writing process.
