ACES 130 - Information Literacy and Student Success 3 Credits This foundational course equips students with the critical inquiry, self-management, and professional readiness skills essential for thriving in higher education and the modern workplace. Students will improve information literacy by cultivating critical reading and thinking skills and mastering strategies to analyze, question, and interpret college-level materials, alongside learning to evaluate the credibility and bias of information sources. A central focus is on personal development and academic mastery. Course Learning Outcomes:
- Employ critical reading strategies to analyze, question, and interpret college-level content.
- Apply critical thinking skills to develop informed perspectives.
