NURS 786C - FNP IV-Management of Patients and Families with Chronic Conditions Clinical 5 Credits This clinical course includes 225 direct patient care hours in a precepted clinical experience under the supervision of faculty. During this experience, students provide advanced practice nursing care to patients with chronic and complex health conditions across the lifespan. The student will become increasingly independent in clinical decision-making skills and ability to manage patients within primary care and community settings. Grade Note(s): NURS 786C requires 225 hours at a clinical site. All component co-requisites must be repeated if a failing grade is received in any one of them. The lecture, lab (L or V), and clinical (C) components of each NURS and NRPY course must be successfully completed with a B- or better in the same semester. Fees: Additional course fees apply.
