NURS 600 - Theoretical Foundation for Advanced Nursing Practice 3 Credits This course examines the theoretical and conceptual basis of nursing. Nursing theory and its relationship to research and evidenced-based nursing practice, as well as approaches to theory evaluation are explored. The nursing metaparadigm and all levels of theory are presented, including grand, middle-range, situation-specific, and relevant borrowed/shared theories. Grade Note(s): A grade of B- or better is required for successful completion of all NURS and NRPY courses. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MSN program
