IAAS 600 - Information Security Planning

This course provides a comprehensive overview of cybersecurity management principles and practices, specifically tailored to the challenges and responsibilities faced by Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs). Students will gain a deep understanding of the critical role of cybersecurity in today’s digital world and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively lead and manage security programs within organizations.  Key topics include aligning security strategy with business objectives, implementing and overseeing risk management frameworks, and continuously improving security posture and effectiveness.
Prerequisite(s): Required undergraduate or 500+ level prerequisite courses
