IAAS 245 - Disaster Recovery 3 Credits This course will provide an overview of characteristics of disasters, their impact on population, infrastructure, economy, and disaster management cycle. Topics include the role, organization, and management of business continuity planning in planning for and surviving the impact of disaster, continuing to operate to serve clients or customers, and rapidly recovering to full operations. Other areas of interest include the business impact analysis process, how to manage it, and how to use the analysis as the first step in business continuity plan development. Prerequisite(s): IAAS 221 or IAAS 224
