MGMT 412 - Quality Management 3 Credits This course explores the current managerial philosophies of quality focus, customer orientation, and team participation. Emphasis is given to basic statistical tools, including SPC and DOE, and problem solving. Problem solving methodology in the context of ISO and QS certified environments will be addressed, as well as issues surrounding ISO and QS implementation, documentation, registration, and compliance. The Malcolm Baldridge Award, ISO- 9000, and the Six Sigma quality systems will each be analyzed. Prerequisite(s): FINC 211 , MGMT 211 and STAT 220
