FINC 301 - Retirement Plan/Employee Benefits 3 Credits This course covers the principles of retirement planning. Students will examine defined contribution plans and defined benefit plans for the private sector, as well as retirement plans for nonprofit and governmental entities. The class will also cover the retirement plan design, the plan’s installation and administration issues, retirement plan distributions, nonqualified executive benefit plans, and other topics. Prerequisite(s): FINC 211
